Join the Maji Safi Group (MSG) for a informative conversation about the global water, sanitation and hygiene crisis and learn about our Community Health Educator model that makes disease prevention education fun. MSG believes that by putting women at the center of driving public health changes, communities will change their habits and reduce the disease burdens put on future generations.

We will start with cocktails, some light food, and a presentation about the global water situation. Afterwards we will do an alcohol ink art class with instructor Elaine Riley. We will provide all materials but you may want to bring an apron. We will create our gorgeous pieces of art on ceramic tiles and paper. However, alcohol ink art can be done on any kind of nonporous surface, such as class or white porcelain cups, plates, bowls, etc. If you would like to decorate items other than tile, please bring some from home.
Warning: Be prepared to fall in love with this art technique!
We will fill eTown Hall with laughter and smiles – children of all ages will love this show! Maji Safi Group, a Boulder-based nonprofit, wants to celebrate the holiday season with the community again this year. Let us entertain you and provide you with the opportunity to help improve the lives of Tanzanians through supporting interactive health education. This year’s show will feature Magician Ann Lincoln and performances by young talents from along the Front Range. Additionally, there will be a holiday marketplace at the event with authentic African art and fabrics as well as donated goods from your favorite Boulder businesses.
